This free program gathers families under the guidance of a powerhouse collective featuring Shanta Nurullah and Zahra Baker alongside Angel Bat Dawid and Julian Otis. Together these visionary teaching artists transform the Arts Incubators Flex Space into a playground of sound where children explore melody through the timeless songbook of one of the greatest bands in history. It is a fresh community ritual dedicated to joy and discovery and the magic of making music together.
Presented by Arts + Public Life and Music Moves Chicago, an Old Town School of Folk Music initiative that transforms South and West side communities through high-quality arts education, performance, and workforce readiness.
