Maia is an internationally renowned vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer who has gained notoriety as a longtime member of the AACM & Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra (LA). Maia Quintet appeared at the Gorée Island Jazz Festival in Dakar (2019)
