Intention to Gratitude Full Moon Retreat

Step into a realm of self-discovery at "Intention to Gratitude," a unique wellness retreat curated to align your mind, body, and spirit with the transformative energy of the July Full Buck Moon. Hosted by Joli Chandler, certified yoga teacher and owner of Soma Gems Jewelry (current Arts + Public Life L1 Fellow), this retreat is designed to harness the growth, renewal, and abundance symbolized by the Buck Moon.

Event Overview:

11:00 - 12:00 PM: Welcome/ Moon Circle/ Mandala Making We will begin our journey by purifying and cleansing our space and creating a collective fresh flower mandala. We will create a moon circle with our yoga mats and ground our intentions for the day and discuss the themes of growth, renewal, and transformative power that are reflective of the Buck Moon.

12:00 - 1:00 PM: Yoga and Meditation Embark on a soul-nourishing yoga and meditation session led by certified yoga teacher Joli, designed to cultivate openness and mindfulness and prepare us mentally and physically to connect with the Buck Moon's energy of personal growth.

1:00 - 2:00 PM: Crystal Cage Workshop with Soma Gems Jewelry Dive deep into the mystical world of crystals with this fun crafty workshop. Create your own wire crystal cage to house/display your selection of crystals. You may select to make a keychain or necklace during this workshop. We will be harnessing the powerful energies of gemstones to amplify our intentions during this time of renewal.

2:00 - 3:00 PM: Herbal Tea/Bath Making Workshop by Samantha Jo Balm Yard Indulge your senses in a sensory journey guided by Samantha Jo Balm Yard. Explore the healing properties of herbs while crafting a personalized herbal tea or spiritual bath blend to take home.

3:00 - 4:00 PM: Reflection and Gratitude Sound Bowl Healing Workshop by Beyond Wellness We will conclude our transformative experience with a reflective session of journaling and soothing sound bowl meditation by Cherish of Beyond Wellness. Release what no longer serves you and express gratitude for the growth and blessings to come.

OTHER INFO:

Light snacks, juices, teas, and refreshments will be provided. Please plan to arrive on time and stay for the entirety of the event. 

Yoga mats will be provided. You may wish to bring any other items that may support you throughout the day such as crystals, blankets, blosters, pillows etc. You are encouraged to dress comfortably in clothing that you can do yoga in and if possible wear the COLOR ORANGE which symbolizes change and transformation.

Joli Chandler is an artist, trained metalsmith, yoga teacher, and owner of Soma Gems Jewelry. Cherish of Beyond Wellness

Cherish is the founder of Beyond Wellness, a collective whose mission is to “create spaces of light.”She discovered profound healing and transformation through studying mindfulness, out of this process she developed a method of self-empowering meditation. Her goal is to create safe, inclusive spaces designed to foster physical and emotional healing to inspire balance through mindfulness. Cherish’s work is focused on fostering wellness through meditation and creating community through holistic well-being.
