Something Out of Nothing | Clinard Dance Workshop

The flamenco art form started with song then came pulse and rhythm. Historically flamenco used hand clapping, body percussion, and marked time with a stick or other everyday objects. In this workshop world and folk music percussionist Diego Alvarez will guide participants to find rhythms and pulses on the spot to create something from nothing.

Flamenco dancer, Wendy Clinard will invite exploration with these rhythms and pulses through body percussion.
